Next discussion about how to support local businesses, including a possible 'Sevenoaks Pound' local currency, is on Thursday 27 May from 5.30–7pm at Amherst primary school, Witches Lane (Riverhead).

Our Food Group continues to plan several practical projects on food + growing. We already have several such goals: weekly produce market in Sevenoaks town, community garden or orchard, and a collective buying group for organic food already launched. Our bid for funding for a weekly food+growing information centre in Sevenoaks passed initial scrutiny, and we are submitting a full application.
